BUSTED: The Citizen’s Guide To Surviving Police Encounters

13 March 2009 328 views No Comment

You’re driving your car when all of a sudden you see police lights in your mirror. The police officer walks up to your car and starts asking questions. You get nervous and begin incriminating yourself. Next thing you know, without realizing it, you basically invited the police officer to come into your car. You’re about to get in trouble, when you could have easily avoided it.

The American Civil Liberties Union wants to make sure situations like this doesn’t happen.   Flex Your Rights and  retired ACLU director Ira Glasser came together to create BUSTED: The Citizen’s Guide To Surviving Police Encounters. In my opinion this is a video every American that isn’t sure about what their rights are when encountering the police needs to watch.

This informative video demonstrates what you need to say and do in the event of any police encounter you might find yourself in. From traffic stops to house parties, this video shows you how to keep your rights; all while remaining respectable to the officers. Follow this video and you will get past some shady situations.
